The only thing to worry about is a dry socket, but that shouldn't happen if you follow the post-surgery guidelines they give you. My docs gave me a curved water syringe to keep the vacated areas clean. Make sure you do that well, it makes a big difference.

It's not so bad - just make sure you take the drugs that they offer you!
