Around the house

Lazy Saturday morning.

Gretchen decided not to nap and to look out the window. But I guess she got tired and laid down.

Toes are delicious!

Five Months

Our little man turned five months old yesterday. He is such a gift. He is very observant and always looking around. He loves to play with many of his new Christmas toys, such as his giraffe. He is a very easy going guy although he does not believe in nap schedules. He always goes to sleep at 7pm, but he can wake up any where from 6:30-8:30. His nap times vary wildly as well.
I am loving every minute of this age, old enough to play with but can not crawl away from me yet! Although Gretchen really wants Jack to be able to crawl after her. She might change her mind once he can. She kisses and hugs Jack everyday and tells him he is her best friend. To see the love and giggles shared between them already is so overwhelming.

four months old

Our smiley guy turned four months old on the 18th. He had his four month check-up today and all is well. He weighs 17lbs 15oz and is 26 3/4 inches long. Those numbers put him in the 95% for both height and weight. He has great head control and enjoys sitting up in the bumbo for 5-10 minutes at a time. He also loves his floor gym and can entertain himself for a good 15-20 minutes. He did roll over for the first time(on the morning of his Baptism) but has not done it since. He kicks his legs constantly and laughs all the time. He is just a happy little baby. We are looking forward to our first Christmas as a family of four and Jack's first trip to St. Louis.

Here is Jack playing in his bouncy chair.

Getting Ready for Christmas

Daddy and G hard at work making her first snowman!

At a Christmas party for a woman's group I am a party of.

This is as close as G was going to get to Santa that day.

Our mantel with the addition of Jackson's stocking.

We took the Polar Express a few weeks ago. When we got to the North Pole we got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. A 300lb elf also rode a unicycle, it was quite a morning all around.

Jack was thrilled to me Santa.

She gave him a high five and that was more than I was expecting.

Headed to the North Pole.
