How is Gretchen?

Gretchen will be 11 weeks old on Wednesday and she is doing wonderful. At her 2 month check up she weighed 13 lbs 3 oz and was 23 & ¾ inches long. Those measurements put her in the 90th percentile for height and weight. She is making some strides with holding her head up, although we are not there yet.

As far has her personality it is starting to develop, she seems to be a morning person. We are greeted with big smiles and lots of cooing first thing in the morning. For the most part she only fusses when she is hungry or if she is overtired. She has discovered ceiling fans and her fingers in a big way in the last few weeks. She loves the ceiling fan in our bed room and smiles at it everyday. Although she has been putting her hands in her mouth for weeks now, in the last few days she has discovered each hand has five little appendages. We now see her playing with her fingers. Unfortunately she sometimes puts them in her mouth and chokes herself. She also loves bath time, being read too, and having Nathan and I talk too her.

Enough talk, lets see some pictures:

She likes her sunglasses, although they will not stay on. She hates hats. I think it is because they are all still too big on her. If you look close I stuffed this one with toilet paper. She still cried.
