The battle for Gretchen's baseball soul has begun. Please notice how much more alert she is for her Cubs blanket than for her Red Bird. It may be an early sign of her loyalty.
Jen, how could you? You were raised on the south side! I will totally be taking Gretchen to her first Sox game someday. Maybe we can compromise and do a Windy City Classic game. You can wear blue and red and I will wear black and white! :)

Personally I think the orange & blue look best on her. :) Do I see a member of the University of Illinois class of 2030???
I do believe the Cardinals mascot is named Fredbird, not Red Bird. If you are going to badmouth the Cards, at least get the lingo correct :)
